The Cooker

Yesterday I finally made the commitment and purchased the cooker for the kitchen. It’s one of those big decisions you can just go round in circles thinking about. I’ve read reviews, looked at discussion forums, considered pros and cons, dilly-dallied over colour and form.Screen Shot 2014-07-01 at 16.29.20I chose the Rangemaster Professional Deluxe 100 in stainless steel and chrome. Range cookers are popular in this country so there was an enormous choice, which made it even harder. It is dual fuel, meaning the hob burners are gas flame and the ovens are electric. It has five burners, including a wok burner, two ovens (one multifunction and the other a fan oven) and a separate grill.

I am a sucker for hampers, I adore them. Plus it comes with a reusable wooden crate! What more could I want?

  1. yep me as well. paint it with sealer while you do the tiles or whatever.
so funny that we would all be paying for the Ultra Deluxe Professional Blue Ribbon range, and then get excited about a tiny bit of retro. I salute the Rangemaster Marketing Team.
    2. Love the new blog masthead image.
